Step 3 · Position and Press for a Perfect Fit

Carefully place your carpet tread onto the metal stair. Take a moment to ensure it's perfectly aligned with the stair stringers for that polished, visually level appearance. Once you're happy with the position, apply firm, even pressure. We recommend starting from the center and smoothing outwards toward the edges. This technique pushes out any trapped air and guarantees a solid connection between the tape and the stair. Pay special attention to pressing down all the edges for a secure, lasting bond.
