Depending on the faucet type, you will need to remove specific components. For cartridge faucets, you might need to remove a retaining clip or nut before pulling out the cartridge. For ball faucets, unscrew the cap and lift out the ball and cam assembly. For compression faucets, unscrew the stem assembly.
