Step 4 · Re-Stick, Press, and Rotate

You’re ready to finish this easy DIY stair remodel! Once your tread is completely dry and the stair is clean, align it carefully. Just like the first time, press down firmly in the center and smooth your hands out toward the edges. This pushes out any trapped air and ensures the 'Clean, peel, and stick' backing makes full contact. For even longer life, consider rotating your treads periodically to distribute wear. Remember to keep treads away from standing moisture to protect the adhesive's bond and provide lasting safety.
