With the stairs clean and dry, apply a thin, even coat of Minwax Polyurethane to the wooden treads using a paintbrush. For practical access, apply the polyurethane to every other step, allowing the untreated steps to be used for movement. Ensure consistent coverage and avoid drips or puddles.
